My Previous Troop

Previously my troop was Troop 108, Penn Hills Pa. The scouts in my troop included me, my 2 younger brothers Darian & Andrew, Josiah & Cole (brothers), Jordan, & Josh. The Scout Masters (last names) were Fagan, Aitchison, Prince, & Wideman. The first year Eskelson was in my troop, but he had moved to Florida for a better job.

We would go once a month to do some kind of project. Most of the time it was camping or hiking. But when it wasn't camping we'd go swimming most other times. We would also do things like dodge ball, or capture the flag after our weekly meetings. They grow on you after awhile.

We'd have clean jokes & conversations unlike most people around us. We tried to be the examples for others. Like all scouts, every single 1 of us targeted earning an eagle badge. Although I only got to second class, I'm sure Cole &/or Josiah are going to get theirs. I didn't pay much attention to the cub scouts, but there definitely was many so there are going to be many more scouts in my troop sooner or later.

Also, we LOVED going on the annual week long camp out. but that costs a lot of money so we'd constantly be looking for fund raiser opportunities. Some of the jobs we did included mowing lawns, painting, helping someone move in, helping someone else move out, get rid of a bunch of spare logs, (which was then typically used for fires) tearing down walls & replacing them, laying cement, etc.

No we weren't perfect. I'd hate for anyone to think that. Me & my brothers would constantly get into arguments, & Cole & Jordan would occasionally have a "What now? What." attitude. But we would make an effort to improve ourselves. We still have our problems, but we are getting much better than we used to be. Nobody's perfect. It's the strife to excel & improve that makes us scouts.

My personal favorite activity I've ever been on (besides riding roller coasters) is still climbing & rappelling.
